Welcome to my World of Education on the World Wide Web ... my e-Portfolio!

A personal view of education ....

I believe in a student first based education. Students are entitled to best quality education we can provide for them. Everything within our power should be done to meet the needs of students first. Educators who are properly qualified are the key to this. To many times unqualified teachers are put in classrooms to educate children. This puts those children at an unfair disadvantage. They are not receiving the best education possible and the educational need probably are not being met.

Being an educator is a most rewarding field. The reward comes from having the knowledge to provide to the students and for them to apply that knowledge in that it makes a difference in their lives. In which case they have accomplished something as well the educator. As an educator I plan to have that knowledge and to be able to provide it to my very precious students.

Most importantly the curriculum should geared toward the student first. It is more important to me that the children be able to use and follow the instruction than how easy may be to actually teach it. The children should be ones to benefit most. In my years as a student and teacher candidate, I have seen programs that do not benefit the children how it should. A good program, and a good well qualified educator are what it will take for efficient education.
