Welcome to my World of Education on the World Wide Web ... my e-Portfolio!
A personal view of education ...
The purpose of education is to provide knowledge that will prepare students for success in the real world. This is one of the influencing factors to become a teacher ... helping kids prepare for the real world. But this crucial fact is not the only reason to be a teacher. There are certain rewards and joyful feelings that may only be experienced through teaching. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that you have helped, encouraged, or satisfied one’s desires or goals. Teaching is also rewarding because you can stimulate the students interest and expand their knowledge.
I appreciate your visit to my e-Portfolio which is intended to be representative and not comprehensive. In this electronic format, I can share some of what I have experienced in education, The major learning’s I have acquired, a brief look at me as a person, and my future goals.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments that you may have concerning this material are welcomed. Your experience and insight may move me to consider ideas, techniques, and positions that are new to me. In the end, our mutual interest and work in education will benefit my future students, their development as persons, and how they contribute to our society now and in the future. Thank you again!
